The mission and purpose of the Fire Controls team maintains a safe working environment for the tenants occupying TFC properties in the Austin area. This is accomplished by performing code required inspections and testing and performing preventative maintenance of the life safety systems.
The Fire Controls team is responsible for the inspection, testing and maintenance of the fire alarm systems, fire sprinkler systems, gas suppression systems and fire extinguishers in all buildings that are managed by TFC. Additionally, Fire Controls tests and maintains TFC's Fireworks System which is the system that monitors the fire alarm panels in the TFC properties in the Austin area. Fire Controls respond to alarms at TFC properties in the Austin area to assist emergency personnel and to reset the fire alarm panel when the event is cleared. At least one member of the Fire Controls team is on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
