Request For Use Form
If your organization would like to lease or use parking spaces for events after hours or weekends in a state-owned lot or garage, please download and submit the “Request for Use for a Fee, Free or Reduced Rate Parking” form (NOT INTENDED FOR TAILGATE RESERVATION SPACE REQUESTS) to the Commercial Parking and Events Division at the Texas Facilities Commission. Nonprofit, charitable, and other community organizations may apply to temporarily lease or use state-owned parking lots and garages (map) for events located in the city of Austin for a fee, free of charge or at a reduced rate. Capitol Complex Downtown(Hobby Complex) North Complex(HHSC Campus)Applications are considered on a first come, first served basis.
For the application to be considered timely, the application request must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the proposed event. Submission of your Request for Use Form, does not guarantee that your request will be approved. Requests are considered on a case-by-case basis.
Forms can be submitted by U.S. Mail, Fax, or E-mail to Debbie Simecek.
The Texas Facilities Commission's Mystery Parker Program is looking for individuals that park at any of the several state-owned Garages or Lots located downtown Austin and the Capitol Complex.

When completing your form, be sure to complete all of the questions in the Yellow shade boxes. If your organization is an IRS recognized 501(c), you need to submit a copy of your IRS Letter and Tax ID Number.
