The mission of the Plumbing team is to provide tenants in TFC properties with sanitary potable water, non-potable water, and efficient sanitary waste removal systems including appropriate cafeteria support. Since the Plumbing team is limited in number, it is important to ensure that each are fully capable of independently performing any work required. The Plumbing team is responsible for maintaining the following quantities of equipment:

- 130 backflow preventers (Plumbing Team performs yearly "backflow preventer equipment testing" required by the City of Austin to be performed by a qualified, licensed Plumber. )
- 76 drainage sump pumps
- 600 drinking fountains
- 13 domestic water pump stations with a total of 39 individual pumps
- Greater than 2,000 restroom fixtures, excluding those exterior to TFC buildings
