• All white and colored paper

• Paper ream wrappers

• Brochures & pamphlets

• Cardboard & paperboard boxes

• Envelopes (even with plastic windows or labels)

• Folders -- manila, coated, colored, even if they have plastic tabs or metal strips

• Junk mail, direct mail, etc.

• Legal pads, steno pads, & spiral notebooks

• Magazines

• Manuals with glue bindings

• Newspapers, including the inserts

• Posters

• Receipts

• Scratch, message and memo pads (Post-it Notes®)

• Soft cover books

• Plastic Bottles & Aluminum Cans

• Rigid Plastic with the exception of #3

• Note: Staples and paperclips DO NOT have to be removed

 Unacceptable Items in the Single Stream Recycling

• Paper towels and tissues

• Kitchen and food waste (paper plates, cups, and food wrappers)

• Carbon Paper

• Hard cover books

• Tear resistant papers (example, flimsy Federal Express envelopes)

• Glass

• Pressure sensitive adhesive (crack and peel labels)
